A ZANY York man munched his way through every burger on Burger King's menu to raise money for Children In Need.
Jamie Cain, 20, from York, guzzled 12 different burger varieties, including a Double Whopper and Bean Burger, at the fast food eaterie in High Ousegate.
His efforts helped raise huge amounts of cash for children's charities.
At midnight last night, Radio York reported £46,160.24 raised locally, and today the national total stood at £13 million.
Jamie was provided with his food free of charge while his friends collected donations in buckets.
"I'll never eat another burger," said Jamie. "I feel as sick as a pig, but it's all for a good cause."
A £200 three-day New Year trip to Amsterdam, donated by an Evening Press competition winner, raised £1,000 for Children In Need when Tony Gill, from Harrogate, bid for it in a Radio York auction.
