SCARBOROUGH FC were this afternoon unveiling former Notts County boss Russell Slade as their new manager.
He is taking over from Ian Kerr, who has only held the job for a few weeks, following a takeover of the club was completed today.
Slade, a former Sheffield United youth coach, is being appointed after former club owner Darryl Littlewood relinquished control of the cash-strapped Seasiders, who are bottom of the Nationwide Conference, to a consortium of businessmen.
Kerr will revert to his old role as youth coach with club stalwart Ray McHale becoming Slade's assistant.
Boro are without a game on Saturday after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Whitby Town in the fourth qualifying round.
