A COMPANY started at York Science Park five years ago, has been listed in the top 100 fastest-growing high-tech firms in Britain.
Ioko 365, formerly Infocom, is 38th on the Sunday Times Fast 100 list - and before the selection was made the organisation reached the finals of the Growth Business of the Year category of the Evening Press Business of the Year awards 2001.
Started by David Griffiths and Mark Christie with £100,000 of private investment, the firm has now evolved into a highly successful enterprise technology services provider to worldwide clients, employing 151 staff who design, build, and manage among the largest and most complex business technology systems in Europe.
Ranked as one of the North's 35 top technology companies by financiers Deloitte & Touche, sales for Ioko 365 have been growing by 101 per cent annually from £2 million in 1998 to £8.2 million last year.
