YORK City got plenty of shooting practice in ahead of their FA Cup first round clash at Colchester on Saturday.
City boss Terry Dolan took his squad to the North of England Multi-Activity Centre at Harewood Whin, Rufforth, yesterday, with clay pigeon shooting was one of the skills the players tried out.
The Minstermen also got plenty of time to perfect their corners, with go-karting and off-road driving two of the other sessions during the day out.
Meanwhile, City have announced Peter Salter has taken over the reigns as the club's commercial manager.
Salter, who lives near Selby, has taken-up the post following the departure last month of Simon Cawkill.
He is available to speak to on any commercial or sales matter at the club on (01904) 624447 ext 6 or at peter.salter@ycfc.net
