Indian Venture, successful at Kelso earlier this month, is napped to follow-up when he returns to the Borders course tomorrow.
The Nicky Richards-trained gelding lines-up for the Dixon Heaney Handicap Hurdle and will again have the assistance of top northern jockey Tony Dobbin.
Indian Venture, who got off the mark at Carlisle in October, found no difficulty gaining a repeat victory at Kelso ten days ago.
Sent off the odds-on favourite, he only needed to be shaken-up on the run-in to beat Silver Howe by a cosy two-and-a-half lengths.
A progressive horse, Indian Venture has good prospects of completing a hat-trick tomorrow.
Stan's Your Man would be an appropriate winner of the the £10,000 Ceilidh Boy Showcase Handicap Chase.
Trained by Ferdy Murphy, Stan's Your Man is owned by Dawn Goodfellow, who previously had Ceilidh Boy, after whom this race is named.
A winner at Perth back in May, but not seen out since, Stan's Your Man goes well fresh and ought not to be inconvenienced by the lack of a preparatory run.
Gralmano, an impressive winner on his hurdling debut at Kelso last month, returns to the course with an excellent chance of gaining a repeat victory.
The gelding, trained at Hambleton by Kevin Ryan, goes for the Jimmy Shand Novices' Hurdle and is fancied to defy a penalty in the hands of Graham Lee. Formerly a pretty smart handicapper on the Flat, Gralmano had struggled to get his head in front this season. But the switch to hurdles has clearly worked the oracle on him.
His recent success, which was achieved by a smooth three-and-a-half lengths from Another Chance, left the impression that further success will come his way. He should make a bold bid.
