YORK Wasps RL have arranged a pre-season friendly against Rugby League Premiership rivals Featherstone Rovers.
The clash with Rovers, who have finished fifth in the table in each of the last three seasons, takes place at the Lionheart Stadium on Thursday, November 22, kick off 7pm.
The match will be Wasps' first under new coach Leo Epifania, and takes place ten days before their first game of the season, at home to Whitehaven, on Sunday, December 2 (kick off 3pm).
RFL headquarters were besieged with such a high demand for tickets for the second Guinness Test with Australia that the telephone switchboard jammed.
Great Britain's stunning 20-12 first Test victory over the Kangaroos sparked such a frenzy for tickets for Saturday's game at Bolton's Reebok Stadium that the telephone system collapsed.
