I AGREE with the comments of John Ibbott about First York bus services. I have had similar experiences. (Letters, November 5).
The last time I complained to Mr Bell he also accused me of damaging his company. There seems to be some in-built denial at First York that the customer can ever be right.
I experienced a motley collection of late buses, ones turning short of the terminus, incomplete destination boards, buses missing at the times of school runs, drivers not available at changeover points and, worst of all, drivers battling to keep to impossible timetables and taking risks by speeding by doing so. I advise John, and anyone with a complaint about unreliable buses or unpleasant journeys, to copy their letter to: First Group Chief Executive, Mr Moir Lockhead, 395 King Street, Aberdeen AB24 5RP, their local councillor and Mr Steve Fox, North East Traffic Commissioners, Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 6NF.
