Wigginton Grasshoppers came away from Crayke with three well deserved Leeper Hare York and District League premier division points after a 2-1 win.

The visitors had more possession in the first half and went two up.

Tom Coates scored a well taken goal and a well placed penalty was driven home by Tom Matthews.

Crayke played better after the break and were unlucky to hit the woodwork twice before Tim Jackson narrowed the gap from the penalty spot.

Danny Boden scored the only goal of the game to give Rufforth United a 1-0 win at home to Huntington Rovers.

Rufforth had to work hard as Huntington had more possession but were unable to find the net.

Kevin Kozicki scored twice as Riccall won 3-1 at home to bottom club Kartiers, all the goals coming in the second half.

Sharp-shooter Paul Brough opened Riccall's account when he scored from a direct free kick.

Kozicki increased their lead with a cracking volley. Craig Hewitt pulled one back for Kartiers and then Kozicki bagged his second to wrap up the points for Riccall.

Dave Hyde scored a hat-trick as South Bank continue to top Leeper Hare York and District League division one with victory at bottom of the table Hammerton.

Hyde gave South Bank the lead in the first half lead and there was a flurry of goals in the second half.

Chris Rowan and Mark Belleh netted for South Bank and Hyde completed his hat-trick. Tim Wilkinson and Chris Wilcox responded for Hammerton.

Second-placed Thorpe United dropped two points in a 3-3 draw at Huby.

Having raced into a three goal lead by half time Thorpe almost threw it away with indiscipline as they had two players dismissed by the referee.

Lee Brogan netted for Huby direct from one of the free kicks then added a second before Tom Green grabbed the equaliser.

Green almost snatched victory for Huby when he hit a post in the last minute.

Civil Service moved into the top half of the table with a 3-1 home win over Norwich Union, whose scorer was Matt Usher.

St John's College hit three second half goals without reply at Black Horse to gain only their second win of the season.

Malton Bacon Factory entertained Osbaldwick and were stung by an early goal from the visitors. Nigel Allen equalised and Jamie Ward put the Bacon Factory into the lead before half time.

Jamie Barker increased their lead from the penalty spot after the break and Wayne Read made it four before Osbaldwick pulled one back to make the final score 4-2 to the factory side.
