AFTER all the hard work and all the fund-raising, patients and staff today finally moved into the new extension at St Leonard's Hospice in York.
This great day celebrates the human side of the ambitious £2 million campaign, which was launched to mark the new Millennium.
money raised by people in York, many of them readers of this newspaper, has paid for the splendid new facilities.
The expanded hospice is now even better able to care for people facing terminal illness.
And this is in large part due to the generosity of those who raised money and those who gave money.
