THE house will be strangely quiet next year for mother-of-six Lesley Hogarth.

By then all of her children will be at Langton School, near Malton.

The last two to join the school will be twins, Bryn and Troy, and preparations are already under way for the day they start in the reception class.

Lesley, who lives at Langton with her husband, Francis, whom she first met when she was three, said she was looking forward to "getting some of my life back".

Asked if she would miss Jordan, nine, Carl, seven, Sadie, six, Guy, four, and twins Bryn and Troy, three, during the day, Lesley said: "There are still plenty of things to keep me busy.

"I am looking forward to getting to the bottom of the laundry box - I might even find another child down there," she said.

Lesley said the house was like a firemen's drill in the morning.

"We put all the children's clothes out in a row so all they have to do is fall into them," she said.
