I THOUGHT I ought to draw your readers' attention to a notice which has appeared in Walker's Bar, Micklegate, York, now owned by Daisychain Inns: "Unfortunately due to the increase in the minimum wage, we have no alternative other than to increase all prices by 5p per unit."
I find this an outrageous rip-off, and hope that Micklegate revellers give the gaff a very wide berth.
