A GOAL by Richard Bradwell in the last five minutes clinched a 2-1 victory for Selby team Hounds away to Pack of Cards in the second round of the City of York and District FA Sunday Senior Cup.

Alan Jackson had opened the scoring for Hounds and Kevin Gallagher got the equaliser for Pack of Cards.

Severus WMC, 2-0 up at half-time, won 3-2 at home to Carlton with goals by Neil Robertson, Mark Woodward and Phil Jones, who made it 3-0. Simon Brind scored from the penalty spot for Carlton and Sunday League secretary Garry Carter chipped the ball over the Severus 'keeper, but it was all too late.

A Gavin Dickinson header with only two minutes left gave Wigginton a 1-0 win at home to Volunteer.

Three penalties were awarded during Acomb WMC's 4-3 win at Marcia. Acomb took a two-goal lead through Carl Young and Paul King. Young made it 3-0 and then Fitz Morris, Stephen Barlow and Ian Kettlewell scored for Marcia, who had missed a penalty. With two minutes remaining Steven Cross headed in the winner for Acomb.

A goal by Richard Hunnable ten minutes from time following good play by Daimon Scott saw Riccall win 1-0 at home to Blacksmith's Arms, who squandered scoring chances including two missed penalties, one blasted over the bar and the other well saved by Riccall 'keeper Steve Adams

Two goals by Burnholme's John Thornton in the space of three minutes in the last quarter of an hour set Burnholme SC on the way to a 3-0 win at Civil Service in the second round of York FA Sunday Morning Junior Cup.

David Bonner scored from the spot for Burnholme's third goal.

Otis Bar, with two goals from Barry Shepherdson and one by Nigel Allinson, won 3-1 at home to King's Arms.

Yorkshire Herald won 3-1 at Fulford Road WMC, whose scorer was Jonathan Sutton.

Copmanthorpe needed extra time to win 5-3 at home to Heworth. Lee Johanson scored Copmanthorpe's only goal in normal time and Heworth equalised in the last minute. Heworth went 3-1 up in extra time before David Gall netted the best goal of the game when scoring straight from the restart after Heworth's third goal. Dave Robinson and Joe Cole with two added further goals for Copmanthorpe.

A Martin Durrant goal in extra time following a good assist by Lee Brimicombe gave Raskelf a 3-2 win at home to Haxby Lions.

Joe Gardham led the way with five goals as Bishopthorpe swamped Knavesmire 14-0.

Robert Carr scored the winner as Wigginton Grasshoppers won 3-2 at home to Millfield in the second round of York FA Sunday Afternoon Cup. Liam Holmes and Paul O'Loughlin were the other marksmen for Grasshoppers.

Saville AV were 4-0 ahead at home to Sheriff Hutton with 20 minutes remaining but in the end had to hang on for a 6-5 win. Simon Collins notched four goals for Saville, whose other scorers were Darren Haywood and Nicky Scaling.

All the goals came in a frantic first half as Black Dog won 5-2 at home to Clifton Rangers. Harry Jackson Jnr, Chris Burton, Martin Petch, Kevin Newlove and Ian Blythen scored for Black Dog.

Dave Newton netted four goals for Clifton and Chris Paxton one in their 5-3 victory over Knavesmire.
