CHILDREN can jump in a jump-jet next week as the Elvington-based Yorkshire Air Museum offers a half-term Harrier adventure. Children will get the rare opportunity to sit in the cockpit of the Hawker Harrier GR3, the RAF's front-line fighter.
Those aged between five and 16, visiting with parents or guardians, can have a try.
The museum is open daily from 10.30am to 4pm and admission is £4 adults and £3 for children and senior citizens.
