A 17-YEAR-OLD girl was subjected to a vicious sexual assault by two men as she walked home in the centre of Harrogate after a night out with friends.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the victim was forced to the ground by the two attackers in Cheltenham Crescent at about midnight last Wednesday.
Police would not give details of the attack other than describe it as a "serious sexual assault".
The woman has dark hair and was wearing a dark coloured suit with a silver top.
Her attackers were both white and in their mid-20s, well built with short dark hair. One was 6ft tall and the other a few inches shorter.
