PRESTON trainer Geraldine Rees can figure among the winners at Newmarket tomorrow.

Rees, who does extremely well with her small string, saddles Baby Barry in the Links Handicap and this in-form sprinter is fancied to beat 29 rivals.

Baby Barry has won three of his last five races, most recently at Newbury, where he scored in handsome style.

The gelding goes well with some give in the ground and should have conditions to his liking tomorrow. I expect Baby Barry to make a bold bid in a wide-open contest.

The £35,000 Somerville Tattersall Stakes takes pride of place on the televised programme and Redback should give backers a good run for their money.

Richard Hannon's colt has improved as the season has gone on and ran out an impressive winner of the Solario Stakes at Sandown last month, which he bagged by four lengths.

From a stable in excellent form, and with Jimmy Fortune in the saddle, Redback is expected to be involved in the finish.

Red N' Socks has struggled to make an impression this season, but John Dunlop remains faithful to the gelding, who is fancied to click in the Fitzwilliam Rated Handicap.

Red N' Socks ran a fine race in defeat at Doncaster last month when finishing second to Calcutta, after not getting the best of runs.

Calcutta is again in opposition tomorrow but Red N' Socks is strongly fancied to gain his revenge.

Jockey Richard Hills can add to his rising tally by winning aboard Nap selection Mubtaker in the opening race, the Fishpools Furnishings Godolphin Stakes.

Admirably consistent, Mubtaker finished a good second to the classy Grandera at Newbury last time.

The Boadicea Fillies' Rated Handicap offers Honesty Fair the chance to repeat her success in the same race twelve months ago.

Jeremy Golver's useful filly has been out of luck on her last two starts in very stiff assignments, but has previously scored in good style at York.

Watchkeeper has more than paid his way in recent months and John Dunlop's three-year-old could make another contribution towards his keep in the Soltykoff Handicap.

Pat Eddery takes the mount as Watchkeeper bids to gain his third win in four starts.
