RETIRING Yorkshire cricket captain, David Byas, who this summer led the team to their first county championship success in 33 years, met some potential players of the future on a visit to an East Riding school. David was guest of honour at an open day held at the Pocklington Montessori School where he will be doing some coaching as part of a new sports development at the school.
David brought with him the prize for which Yorkshire fought so long: the CricInfo County Championship Trophy.
