MALTON Bacon Factory are the early pacesetters in division one after another convincing win against an under strength Wigginton Black Horse.
They were helped on their way by an own goal and Nicky Cass added a second before the break. Nigel Allen netted twice in the second half and Dennis Moffatt rounded things off to give Factory a 5-0 victory.
Osbaldwick's promising start to the season was halted as they went down 1-0 to a Dave Hanlon goal at Hammerton United.
Haxby Town took the lead through Kevin Hamilton in the first half at St John's College. Rob Burton equalised for the students from the penalty spot but David Thompson netted a winner for Haxby which moves them into second place.
South Bank won their first league game of the season by a 5- 3 margin at home to Thorpe United. Graham Bootland, Simon Kehoe, Dave Hyde and Nick Shaw (2) were the scorers.
Andrew Tuite scored the pick of the Post Office's three goals at home to Norwich Union when he volleyed home an Alex Livie cross. Andrew Bonarious added the other goals in their 3-0 win.
Civil Service opened their account with a
4-1 win at Huby whose Lee Brinicomb netted a consolation goal.
Haxby & Wigginton top division two after their second straight win.
Simon Rycroft opened their scoring at Hamilton Panthers after ten minutes but Mark Moore levelled for the Panthers. Alan Deaton put Haxby & Wigginton back in front before half-time but Paul Barker levelled again for Panthers early in the second half.
Deaton edged his side into the lead with his second strike and the points were made safe when a long throw-in deceived the Panthers 'keeper who could only help it into his own net.
Copmanthorpe remain unbeaten after a 5-2 win at Norton with a hat-trick from Lee Atkinson and two goals from Danny Lefevre. Danny Hamilton and Danny Williams netted for the home side.
Stamford Bridge are still looking for their first win after losing at home in the derby game against Barmby Moor. Kevin Shirley and Sam Hobson scored the Barmby goals with Martin Smith (senior) netting for Stamford. Barmby Moor had to play three quarters of the game with ten men after their goal keeper was sent of in the first half.
Two goals from Steve Johnson gave Stillington a 2-1 home win over White Horse and goals from Danny Walters and Paul Clark gave Heslington a share of the points in a 2-2 draw at home to Easingwold.
Simon Roy netted twice for Sheriff Hutton to bring his tally to six in two games but it was not enough to give his side their second division three win as they went down 4-2 to visiting Wilberfoss.
Mark Tomlinson (3) and Shaun Hodgson scored for Wilberfoss.
LNER Builders raced into a two goal lead at Hemingbrough to leave the home side playing catch-up for the rest of the game. Mark Rollinson (3) Jamie Williamson (2) and Mick Rollinson gave Builders a 6-3 win with Billy Grundy, Rich Collins and Danny Smith on target for Hemingbrough.
Rawcliffe Rangers gained their second win with a 4-2 home win against Strensall. Gary Duckworth Phil Tilsley (2) and Pete Barras netted their goals before Strensall managed to pull two back in the last ten minutes.
Simon Hunt hit all four goals for Poppleton as they won 4-2 at Wheldrake whose scorers were Johnathan Scutt and Nick Henshaw.
Paul Stephenson went one better as he hit all five of the Selby RSSC goals in their home win over Elvington Harriers. John Rogerson (2) and Andy Foster netted in vain for the Harriers.
