WHAT'S the sport of the future? According to Clusterball, it's a weird concoction of flying, picking up breadcrumbs and scoring goals. Sounds confusing?
Well, it is at first, but after you get the hang of things, it's truly jolly.
You fly at will around a landscape that's filled with rival contestants, gathering up balls which are scattered here and there.
Once you have a clutch of balls collected, you score by flying through a gate.
You can collect as many at one time as you like... but beware your rivals who will do all they can with their various pieces of armament to stop you scoring, or even to steal the balls you've spent so much time collecting.
The game's a lot quicker and smoother than it sounds, and is designed principally for online gaming against real-life opponents.
That's good, for the computer opponents can be alarmingly good at this sport. I think I'll seek out more fallible rivals...
