GYM users will be turning the clock back to the 1960s tomorrow for a fundraising day in aid of the American Red Cross, following the terrorist attacks in the United States.
Fitness First, at Monks Cross, will hold an open day from 10am until 4pm when people will be able to use the club for £1 with all the proceeds going to the fund.
There will also be face-painting, a bouncy castle, special aerobics classes and raffles.
York firefighters will also be on hand to run a car wash.
The day will have a 1960s theme and there will be a fancy-dress competition.
* For more information telephone the club on 01904 693322.
