TRIUMPHANT Yorkshire skipper David Byas is going back to school at Pocklington tomorrow.
He is taking cricket's County Championship trophy to Pocklington Montessori School at their 10th anniversary open day.
Byas, who led the Tykes to their first championship for 33 years, will coach cricket at Sport Monty, a floodlit multi-sport Astroturf facility which has been developed at the school with a £26,000 grant.
Professional tennis, cricket, football netball and rugby coaching will be on offer for children in the community.
The facilities will also be on offer to the netball teams and both junior and adult five-a-side football teams.
A national sized roller hockey pitch is also to be created.
Sport Monty will be available throughout the year, including Bank Holidays, from 9am to 10pm.
Teams interested in using the facilities or join any of the sport courses on offer should contact Pocklington Montessori School on 01759 30543.
Creche facilities and adventure playgrounds are available for team players who need child care. Older children can also use Monty's Skate Park.
Tomorrow's open day runs from 10am to 4pm and Byas will be there with the trophy between 10.30am and 11.30am.
