ELVIS has been spotted many times in the 24 years since his death.
In most of these sightings, he was working in a chip shop or a burger bar. At least he would have felt at home.
Now, though, he has gone bananas. Witnesses have placed the hip-swivelling rocker at the Banana Warehouse in York.
This, however, turns out to be a life-size model ready to be auctioned off.
No doubt York's own Elvis impersonator Eddie Vee will be hoping the winning bid comes from outside the city.
This town ain't big enough for a pair of Presleys.
