PLYMOUTH Argyle arrive at Bootham Crescent tonight as the form team in Division Three.
The Pilgrims have climbed to fifth in the table on the back of a six match unbeaten run which included Saturday's 2-0 win over Macclesfield.
Boss Paul Sturrock insists his side still have much to do if they are to challenge for honours in Division Three, despite their recent run and the injection of new blood into the squad.
Sturrock was able to strengthen his hand on Friday when signing Canadian international midfielder Jason Bent on a three-year deal.
Having gained a work permit for Canadian international midfielder Bent made his debut as a substitute on Saturday and could be poised for a fuller role tonight.
With centre-back Paul Wotton struggling with a calf strain picked up against the Silkmen, midfielder Steve Adams is on standby to plug the gap should Wotton fail a late fitness test.
If he does and Adams is installed in the back four Bent could make his full debut.
Former Southampton and Oldham striker Nicky Banger, in the middle of a three-month trial at Home Park, is expected to miss out with a hamstring strain.
Regardless and despite Saturday's 2-0 win, Sturrock is expected to revert to a 4-5-1 formation he uses on away-days with Micky Evans, who scored twice at Bootham Crescent last season, the sole front man tonight.
Last season's win at York was one of only two savoured by Argyle on their travels during the whole of last season.
They have already bettered that record this season, winning three times and remaining unbeaten away from home.
