Osbaldwick continued their fine start to the season with a 4-0 Leeper Hare York and District League division one win over Post Office.
After a goalless first half Andy Triffitt, Joe Depa, Rob Orr and James Luck hit the net.
Promoted Huby drew 3-3 with Haxby Town in their first division one game, Andrew Metcalfe, Lee Brogan and Tom Green scoring.
The other promoted club, Hammerton, lost 3-1 at Malton Bacon Factory. Mike Snowdon gave Malton the lead and although Hammerton equalised before the break two goals in five second-half minutes from Dennis Moffatt and Carl Sawdon clinched the points for the Factorymen.
Simon Slater hit the only goal of the game in the 50th minute as Wigginton Black Horse beat Civil Service at Boroughbridge Road.
Fulford kicked off their division two season with a 2-0 home win over neighbours Heslington.
The visitors could not turn possession into goals while Glen Feather- stone, on 20 minutes, and Steve Dunn, on 70, netted for Fulford.
John Dutton and Paul Williams gave Norton a first-half lead at Easingwold and although Lewis Calder pulled one back for the hosts after the break the visitors held on.
Copmanthorpe had the edge over visitors Stamford Bridge and quickly established a three-goal lead through Graham Butcher (2) and Mark Flood before Nick Rank pulled one back. Flood extended Cop's lead and although Nick Long kept the visitors in it Lee Atkinson rounded off the scoring for Cop.
Barmby Moor and Stillington shared four goals. Sam Hobson opened the scoring for Barmby, strikes from Richard Coultas and Garry Goodwin put Stillington in front and Stuart Barker levelled with ten minutes remaining.
A young Hamilton Panthers side, promoted to division two, thrashed Heworth 5-0 with Mark Moore hitting a hat-trick. Paul King and Paul Barker also added to the scoreline.
Haxby & Wigginton trounced White Horse 9-2. Jon Machin (3), Alan Deaton (2), Richard Iggulden (2), Steve Sullivan and Daz Adams were their scorers. Simon Ashton and Mal Taylor netted consolation goals either side of half time.
League newboys Sheriff Hutton, who took the place of the defunct Grasshoppers 82, started their division three campaign with a remarkable 10-3 win at Poppleton.
It was 2-2 at half time and Pop actually led before Sheriff Hutton began to score at regular intervals.
Simon Roy hit four and Brian Edgar two with Steve Aconley, Nick Wilson, Dave Francis and 'keeper Brian Edgar, who netted a penalty, also scoring. Simon Hunt, Chris Balmer and Dave Asbury netted for shellshocked Poppleton.
Strensall won 4-2 at Selby RSSC after trailing 2-1 at the break. Nick Pipe, Tony Mason, Nick Young and Andy Whitwam got their goals.
John Hardcastle, Shaun Hodgson and Paul Umpleby earned Wilberfoss a 3-3 draw at home to Hemingbrough, while John Dean and Jim Clayton were LNER Builders' marksmen in their 2-1 win over Marton cum Grafton. The Builders also had two second-half goals disallowed.
Moor Lane took the lead at home to Rawcliffe Rangers before Gary Duckworth levelled five minutes before the break. Darren Wray twice netted in the second half for Rawcliffe before Moor Lane pulled one back to set up a frantic last ten minutes but the visitors hung on.
A sizeable crowd saw an entertaining derby at Elvington where Wheldrake drew 3-3. Matty Humphries, John Rogerson and Neil Alexander netted for the hosts with Nick Henshaw (2) and an own goal earning Wheldrake's point.
