POCKLINGTON maintained their unbeaten start in the Leeper Hare York and District League premier division by ending that of champions Old Malton.
A fine all-round team performance by Pock saw them return home with a 3-0 win.
The hosts put the pressure on the visitors' defence for the opening ten minutes but Pock turned it round to open the scoring thanks to a cracker by Charlie Bond.
Old Malton twice went close after the break but Ron Eales notched Pock's second on a break and after fine end-to-end play the visitors bagged their third in style through Rich Swan.
Dringhouses remained top on goal difference following a 4-0 win at New Earswick.
Both sides missed chances before John Lake scored twice and although Earswick pressed they couldn't hit back against in-form 'keeper Mick Conlin.
Young Lee Atkinson broke through to grab the third goal and Neil Ducey landed number four.
Boroughbridge moved fourth after coming from behind late on to win 2-1 at Bishopthorpe.
Martin Spencer beat his marker to score for Bishops in the 16th minute, but with just eight minutes left Bridge countered to equalise when Darrel Perry crossed for Duncan Quick to net.
A goalmouth scramble from Alan Partington's ball into a box then ended with Steve Tovey scoring the winner.
A ding-dong battle at Nestl Rowntree saw Wigginton Grasshoppers leave with three points after a 3-2 win in an open game.
Rowntrees twice took the lead through a John Alcock penalty and John Thornton but Hoppers twice levelled through John Byford after a three-man move and the outstanding Tom Mathews, who cleverly beat his marker to net from 20 yards.
Mathews then grabbed his second and the winner for the visitors.
Rufforth took all the points from their trip to Kartiers after a hard-fought 3-2 win.
Rufforth went two up through the outstanding Gary Keenan and an Andy Moss header before Andy Woodall pulled one back.
Moss netted his second and it proved decisive as Chris Hewitt scored from the spot for Kartiers, who were still pressing for an equaliser when the final whistle blew.
Another 3-2 result at Huntington saw the hosts beat Crayke. Defender Glen Banks drove Rovers in front after ten minutes and, after they had missed a few chances, Jamie Seal doubled their lead.
Crayke came back five minutes into the second half through a Simon Wilson penalty but Rovers went 3-1 up through Paul Pemberton, who also missed an open goal.
Crayke pressed down the left for Mark Hutchinson to head home at the far post but it was not enough.
