LADIES' golf can expect an even greater upswing in fortunes at Malton and Norton Golf Club.
The club, which has produced English international amateur player Emma Duggleby, hosted a batch of coaching sessions for junior girls organised by the ladies' section and backed by the Golf Foundation.
Club professional Steve Robinson, who has helped oversee the rise of Emma Duggleby, provided valuable tuition at the coaching sessions, which were run by ladies' vice-captain Jean Mackenzie.
