CHAIRMAN Darrell Littlewood was set for crisis talks with Scarborough manager Neil Thompson and chief executive Ian Davison today about the state of the Nationwide Conference club.
The Seasiders occupy one of the three relegation spots, the crowd of 616 against Morecambe on Tuesday was the lowest at the McCain Stadium for 15 years and the players have been paid late, some with cheques which have subsequently bounced.
It is crunch time for the Seasiders who have yet to win any of their five home games this season and entertain Nuneaton on Saturday.
It is known Thompson, who is also believed not to have been paid on time, is growing increasingly disillusioned with the club's situation.
Of their last 47 home games Boro have only won 15.
