Harrogate Railway stormed through their FA Cup first qualifying round replay at Winsford United with a stunning 4-1 win - despite being held up and having to get changed on the bus.
Traffic delays around Manchester and in Cheshire, due to Manchester United's and Crewe Alexandra's home games, on the way to Winsford added an extra hour onto Railway's journey, forcing the game to kick off ten minutes late.
Yet Railway put on a scintillating first-half show to go in 4-0 up at the break.
Former Nestl Rowntree player Mark Watkinson scored one and was felled in the area for Ian McLean to net from the spot, while Steve Davey bagged a brilliant brace.
Rob Montgomery made a fine save at the start of the second half, with Winsford's consolation coming late in the game.
Railway assistant boss Mick Margis said: "We had just told the players to think what the journey home would be like if we lost. We would have beaten anyone in the first half the way we played."
Railway now face Liversedge away.
