READERS will be saddened to learn of the death of Susan Seager. Her remarkable story was regularly updated in the pages of this newspaper.
Susan's indomitable spirit will long be remembered. Born with severe spina bifida, she first met future husband John as their wheelchairs were loaded onto an ambulance when they were children.
The couple celebrated their silver wedding anniversary last year along with grown-up daughter Anna.
Susan's death, at the remarkable age for a spina bifida sufferer of 58, is to be mourned.
But Susan's life should be celebrated.
She was an inspiration to us all.
