BAY Horse 'A' completed their dominance of the York Maxiprint League division one season with a display of darts which saw Simon Craven (20) and Alan Lawson (21) outstanding and Paul Cooper close with a splendid 17.
Slipper's only success was Rob Platt.
Dave Johnson (180) was best for Volunteer as Mitre won the match which secured the runners-up spot, while Clifton's 6-3 victory over Acomb was enough to wrap up third position.
Tap finished their programme recording a good win at Pack in which Gary Armitage gamed in 21, Mick Nixon in 20 and John Smith with 19. Dave Smith checked a 90 finish.
In division two, Bishopthorpe had to wait until the final game to secure the championship title with Dave King and Arthur Conyers, while Tony Raymond hit the tons to ensure the aggregate point. Mal Muncaster was Crescent's best performer.
Steve Brown (21) got Huntington off to a fine start, but Clifton 'B' rallied to win the match 6-3 and settle the runners-up place.
Howden won division three after sealing a last game win over Huntington 'B'.
Geoff Kitson and Andy Cass were the match-winners while Steve Burton and Dave Tatterton also played well. Gimcrack took all the singles to record a 6-3 win at Woolpack which sealed runners-up position for them.

- This week the York darts world mourned the death of Barbara Fletcher at 82 years of age.
Known as 'Babs' she was akin to the typecast no-nonsense Blackpool landlady, but as the lovable licensee of the long-gone Londesbrough Arms, Petergate, Barbara was the instigator of women's darts league in the city.
It was largely through her early efforts, that women's darts in York have gone from strength to strength.
