EMMERDALE actor Steve McGann called in to York to do some gym training as he prepares to take part in a trek in aid of The Children's Society.
Steve, who plays Sean Reynolds in the Yorkshire soap opera, will be trekking in Nepal to raise money for the charity.
He called in at Fitness First gym Clifton Moor, York, as the gym is a corporate supporter of the charity, before visiting the charity's Parents And Children Together (PACT) project in George Street.
The PACT project works with children with disabilities, helping them to express themslves and get services improved to help improve their lives.
Steve met one of the young people the project has helped, Sarah Perry, 19. She has been selected to be on the first national board of young people established by The Children's Society to make sure young people's voices are heard within the organisation.
