IT'S a weekend of contrasts at the York Festival of Food and Drink.
This afternoon, fatty food was being put aside for healthy eating events at the St Sampson's Square theatre.
But tomorrow, chocolate and cookies will reign supreme when festival chiefs put the focus on children.
At 4pm today, Hilton Hotel executive chef, Brian Galloway, was cooking up a classy healthy option - grilled monkfish fillet with a warm vinaigrette.
Expect nothing of the kind tomorrow where, at 2pm, James Low, of Villa Italia, will be creating a range of children's party food.
And from 3pm, York Training Centre wants the family to come along to take part in a cookie challenge.
Festival publicity officer Annette Oliver said: "This will be another great day of food and drink."
The festival, of which the Evening Press is a sponsor, runs until September 23.
