IN response to the 'Green Belt posers' letter by Graham Tissiman (August 26), as an old boy of Archbishop Holgate's Grammar School, I have happy memories of playing cricket on the site of the York District Hospital.
I also had the pleasure of scoring the last half century made on the York ground while playing for the York Wanderers Cricket Club, in the last match played on the ground.
