TEAMS of Morris Dancers from all over the country descended on York at the weekend for the city's annual festival of traditional dance.
Dancers, all in traditional costume, gathered in city centre locations on Saturday to compete in the 2001 competition.
The contest, which is now in its 11th year, was won by Ebor Morris, of York. Other teams included Acorn Morris, and the Blackswan, both from the city.
