TEENAGE footballer Lee Sampson got a rare taste of professional life courtesy of the Evening Press and York City.
Lee, 16, from Acomb, and a student at York College, won an Evening Press competition to spend a day training with the club
Lee, who plays in the York John Smith's Sunday Morning Football League, was put through his paces by manager Terry Dolan and first team coach Adie Shaw.
"He enjoyed himself," said Dolan. "He certainly picked a varied day because it wasn't a relaxing morning.
"The squad did some physical work and he joined in part of that, then he played in with a game with the intermediates, so he saw a bit of everything."
