SO! English Heritage are to put forward £10,000 to encourage Scout Groups in North Yorkshire to work towards a new heritage badge (Evening Press, September 5th).
Can this be the same English Heritage who have tacitly approved the proposed desecration of the historic site of Clifford's Tower, of which they are the custodians?
As the date for the public inquiry into the Coppergate II scheme grows closer, let us not forget the importance of what is at stake here.
