YORK City trialist Michael Evans, 24, will play his second match for the Minstermen's reserves against Walsall at Bootham Crescent tonight, kick-off 7pm.
Dutchman Evans, whose father is American, previously played for VV Venlow in Holland but after becoming a free agent is now trying to forge a career in England.
He had a trial at First Division Bradford City earlier this summer.
As speculated yesterday, Neville Stamp will make his first appearance of the season tonight after shaking off a groin strain.
Marc Thompson and Christian Fox, who could play 45 minutes tonight, continue on the comeback trail while Aidan O'Kane has been included in the starting line-up as City manager Terry Dolan tries to beef up the Irishman's match fitness.
The match will mark the last involvement in City colours for two weeks of City intermediate goalkeeper John Collinson.
Rookie shot-stopper Collinson is due to link-up with Whitby Town over the next 14 days as the UniBond Premier division outfit seek cover for their first choice 'keeper, who is on holiday.
City reserves: Howarth, Thompson, Hocking, Vasey, Stamp, Rhodes, Wood, Richardson, O'Kane, Emmerson, Evans. Subs, from: Collinson, Fox, Ibbetson, Boyce, Darlow.
