SUNDAY racing proved to be a popular draw again yesterday at the second Evening Press Raceday.
A poor weather forecast dampened expectations a little, but in the event the weather was kind, and a successful event once again saw Knavesmire infused with a good, friendly atmosphere.
Racing fans of all hues, from the smartly-suited and splendidly-hatted to the relaxed families with picnics, were able to enjoy racing on a Sunday for the second year running. The Evening Press is proud to have supported such a fine occasion.
