NEW Earswick All-Blacks slid to a 48-6 defeat to hosts Hunslet Warriors 'A' for a wretched start to life in the Yorkshire League senior division.
It was a game the York ranks would want to forget as they endured a dispiriting second-half.
For the first 15 minutes honours were even, but after then the only solace for the visitors was a solo try from stand-off Carl Pallister, who touched down his kick ahead before then adding the conversion.
