RESCUE teams were called out to two potentially-serious incidents during a mountain bike race in Dalby Forest yesterday.
The Scarborough and District Search and Rescue Team were called to the aid of a 15-year-old boy who had come off his bike and was suffering from a shortness of breath which developed into an asthma attack.
The boy was treated by team members and the team doctor and after treatment he was able to continue on the race route back to the finish.
The team was later called to a man in his 30s who had come off his bike and had suffered a cut to the top of his foot.
