A 35-YEAR-OLD woman suffered a terrifying attempted sex attack as she walked along a lane off Bishopthorpe Road, in York.
A man approached her as she strolled through the ginnel from Charlton Street to Cherry Street.
He pulled her towards him by the arms and made a sexual remark, before running off when the woman struggled free.
He is described as a white male, aged about 21, with a slim, muscular build, and about 5ft 6in tall.
He was clean shaven with a dry complexion and possibly suffered from eczema.
