I HAVE always lived in York and am fully in favour of the buskers.
Just lately my wife and I, who visit the city centre most days of the week, have seen and listened to three really marvellous buskers.
1. A group of five Russians who are superb musicians.
2.The three young men from Peru. 3. Karl Mullen who plays his piano in St Helen's Square, his playing of As Time Goes By (from Casablanca) and his Boogie Woogie are a real joy.
Anyone who has not listened to these three, should certainly look them up because they are very entertaining.
We hope they keep on keeping the crowds in York happy for a long time.

Heworth Green, York.
