A NURSING home manager has had her record blotted after being found guilty of nine charges of misconduct.
Kathleen Ann Dickinson, 43, has been formally cautioned after failing to properly treat patients at Clyde Court Nursing Home, in Harrogate.
All charges related to her failure to take appropriate action to treat patients' pressure sores, or keep adequate records of treatment.
The caution will be kept on her record for five years, and will be available for employers to see.
Dickinson was cautioned by the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting.
Liz McAnulty, the council's director of professional conduct, said: "The UKCC's code of professional conduct requires registered nurses to put the interests of patients first at all times.
"As an experienced registered nurse who occupied a managerial position, Ms Dickinson failed to set a good example to her colleagues and failed to act in the best interests of her patients."
