RIDING on Santa's Illusion Ride, just like the one at the old York Co-op, is still possible. It was not the only one, other Co-ops also had them.
I too have fond memories of taking my children on this magical ride and when I heard that one of the last rides was for sale I bought it.
This year, fully restored to its former glory, it will be in a department store in the North West of England this Christmas.
If anyone in the York area really wants it for next Christmas, it is still available.
