Nestl Rowntree's 100 per cent record in the West York-shire League premier division ended at Ripon City Magnets last night with a 3-1 defeat.
Rob Ellis equalised Ripon's opener but goals either side of half-time handed the points to the hosts.
Assistant boss Jon Reynolds said: "We had a lot of the ball but couldn't bring the game back.
"It was a disappointing result but the biggest disappointment was the fact we had too many players unavailable. We went with a bare 11 which meant we had no subs and couldn't change things."
Two goals by Sal Njie - the first after just 45 seconds - was not enough to give Knaresborough Town victory over Horsforth St Margaret's as the sides drew 3-3.
Njie's brace, sandwiching an equaliser, saw Town into a 2-1 half-time lead but three goals in three minutes around the hour mark put the sides on a par.
Horsforth levelled, then Heath Anderson put Town ahead with a free-kick, but the visitors equalised again. Darren Clifford's late chance for Town was saved.
