CONCERN is growing for the safety of a 15-year-old York girl who has not been seen for five days.
Nicola Kelly, of Whitestone Drive, Huntington, was last seen leaving her home at 5.30pm on August 25.
She had taken no personal belongings with her.
Sergeant Dave Kirby said: "Nicola has gone missing before, but was found in Skipton, somewhere we have been concentrating our inquiries.
"Unfortunately, we have not managed to trace her and there has been no message from her since she was last seen.
"Concern is growing and so we would ask Nicola, or anyone who knows where she is, to contact us, or her home, to let everyone know she is safe and well."
Nicola's mother had this message for her daughter: "Can you please get in touch to let me know you are safe and well."
Nicola is described as 4ft 11in tall, slim with dark shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a blue denim jacket and black trousers when she was last seen.
Anyone with any information is asked to ring the police on 01904 631321.
