A family fun day is taking place at a York health centre to raise money for St Leonard's Hospice.
The charity fundraising day takes place on Saturday, from 10am to 3pm, at the Tower Court Health Centre in Oakdale Road, Clifton Moor.
The centre, opened last December by the Lord Mayor, includes a dentists, doctors, opticians and beauty salon. And to help explain the variety of services available, the organisers are planning a family-orientated treasure hunt around the units which houses Clifton Moor Dental Centre, the Petergate Surgery, K J Read Opticians and Tranquility, a unit offering complementary and beauty therapies.
There will be stalls and events inside and outside of the health centre, with face painting, a bouncy castle and a raffle.
Tanya O'Boyle, from Tranquility, said: "St Leonard's offers tremendous support to their patients and their families and when we were planning the fundraising day we decided to hold it in aid of the hospice.
"We hope lots of people will come along to see the health centre and to support St Leonard's."
Judith Metcalfe, community fundraiser for St Leonard's Hospice, said: "We are very grateful to all of the practices at the Tower Court Health Centre for arranging the charity fundraising day in aid of St Leonard's and we wish them a successful event."
