The roads surrounding York Racecourse will be subject to restrictions imposed by City of York Council next week.
Between 6am and 8pm on Wednesday, September 5, there will be a temporary prohibition of waiting along Knavesmire Road, Racecourse Road, Campleshon Road and Knavesmire Avenue.
The restriction also applies to the west side of Albemarle Road, between its junctions with The Mount and Queen Victoria Street, the west side of Knavesmire Crescent, between its junction with Campleshon Road and Knavesmire Avenue, and Bishopthorpe Road, between its junction with Campleshon Road and 100m south of the entrance to the racecourse car park.
