YORK Wasps fans will have to wait an extra 24 hours to find out who the club's new coach and sponsors will be.
The date of the Wasps' much anticipated press conference to announce the details has had to be put back a day.
The conference was to be held on Monday, September 17, but Super League bosses are now holding a press conference on that day in Manchester, which is expected to give details on the Grand Final.
The Wasps have therefore decided to postpone their conference until Tuesday, September 18.
The time will still be noon and the venue is still the Posthouse Hotel at Tadcaster Road
The evening bash put on for supporters, to give them first-hand details of the coach and sponsors, will also be put back 24 hours, to be held on the Tuesday, at Huntington Stadium, starting at 7.30pm.
Wasps academy will be holding a presentation night on Friday, August 31.
Awards such as player of the year, players' player of the year and most improved player will be handed out, and there will also be a buffet and disco.
The bash will be held at Huntington Stadium, starting at 7.30pm, and all are welcome.
The academy side finish their season on Sunday with an away match at Chorley Lynx (ko 1pm).
Meanwhile, tickets are still available for a York Wasps fans' outing to the Grand Final at Old Trafford, Manchester, on October 13.
