TRAIN travellers are warned to expect delays as engineering work on the East Coast Main Line is carried out over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Passengers using trains between 8pm tonight and 10am tomorrow, and again from 8pm on Sunday until 10am on Monday, will need to change onto a replacement coach service between Grantham and Peterborough.
Delays are also expected on North and East Yorkshire's roads.
Congestion is particularly expected near Elvington, which hosts the North's premier airshow tomorrow and Monday.
The Evening Press-sponsored Great Yorkshire Air Show is set to include an Avro Lancaster Second World War heavy bomber, the RAF Falcon sky diving team and the world famous Red Arrows.
Runway displays start at 11am each day, with the air displays starting at 1pm.
The show is also expected to be visited by the City of Leeds Swordfish, a torpedo bomber which was adopted by Leeds in 1996.
