SURELY some mistake. The last Bank Holiday weekend of the summer is upon us, and the weather forecasters are predicting sunshine.
Mother Nature must have got her dates confused. We should make the most of her mix-up and enjoy what might be the last shout of summer.
Purists will wish to take part in the traditional Bank Holiday coast-bound traffic jam.
The rest of us have any number of leisure options.
Many families will reach for the skies to watch the spectacular Great Yorkshire Airshow at Elvington on Sunday and Monday.
Big kids, inspired by the display in King's Square, may be tempted to dust off their childhood clackers to see if they still have the knack.
Whatever you do, enjoy it. The next Bank Holiday after this one is Christmas Day.
